Day 4 – 5
The Panorama Route, Seeing is believing
Named by many a traveller as ‘ the most beautiful place in the world’.
Today you will check out of Verlorenkloof Lodge after breakfast and start your journey on the Panaroma Route.
Winding roads through the Drakensberg Mountains lead you to the town of Graskop where you will be overnighting. On route, visit the Mac Mac and Lisbon Falls. Next stop will be the Graskop Gorge Lift Company. The Viewing lift takes visitors 51 metres down the face of the gorge into the Afromontane forest below.
Check into the Graskop Hotel. This hotel has been renovated from the original “70’s style” hotel to a quirky and interesting boutique art hotel.
After checking out of the Graskop Hotel, continue your tour along the Panorama Route. See the magnificent Blyde River Canyon, one of the largest and greenest canyons on earth.
