Once you’ve entered the International Arrivals Hall, you will be greeted by Julie Clarke, your tour guide in Cape Town.

Day 2

The Cape Town City Highlights tour
Day 2
- Wake up to the city of Cape Town, enjoy breakfast before being picked up by Julie
- The Cape Town City Highlights tour gives you the opportunity to orientate yourself in our beautiful mother city, Cape Town.
- Table Mountain. We ascend in a revolving state of the art Cable Car for 704m up to the top of the mountain. Once at the summit of this majestic mountain, you can see the beautiful City of Cape Town stretching out below you.
- The Castle of Good Hope which is the oldest building in the country, as well as the William Fehr Collection of outstanding historical artworks and antique furniture dating back from the late 17th Century.
- Company Gardens, originally the vegetable and fruit orchard which supplied the passing ships. It is now a lovely green area that provides the city with a leafy sanctuary.
- Green Market Square offers a lively flea market with a variety of arts and crafts, clothing and curios. There is some very fascinating cultural diversity when we meander through
- “Die Bo Kaap” previously known as the Cape Malay District, with its colourful houses and smells of fresh spices.
- After a light lunch in the City, we will head out to Langa where we will meet your Township Guide who will take you on a walking tour of the Township from 14h30 to 16h30.
- Head back home to the Hotel, relax with dinner at own accord

Day 3

The Peninsular Tour
Day 3
- Today, we embark on a journey along the coast road to Hout Bay, enjoying a breathtaking drive past the stunning Clifton Beach and lively Camps Bay. This is followed by the picturesque Chapman’s Peak Drive. Our itinerary includes visits to:
- Cape of Good Hope
- Cape Point
- The Penguins at Boulders in Simon’s Town.
- At Hout Bay Harbour, a charming fishing village, we will board a boat to observe the Cape Fur Seals on Duiker Island.
- Lunchtime usually finds us at the Two Oceans Restaurant, where we can savor delicious cuisine while taking in the spectacular views of False Bay!
- Afterward, we will continue along False Bay to visit the Penguins at Boulders Beach. This pristine beach, nestled among massive granite boulders, is home to a colony of approximately 2,000 endangered African Penguins. Previously known as the ‘Jack Ass’ Penguin due to their donkey-like bray, they have since been renamed the African Penguin for a more politically correct identification.
- Finally, we return to the hotel, allowing you to enjoy dinner at your leisure.

Free Day In Cape Town
Day 4
- Today spent time at your own leisure
- Whether you choose to explore the vibrant streets of the city, visit the local markets brimming with unique crafts, or simply relax at a café with a view of Table Mountain, the day is yours to enjoy. Consider visiting the District Six Museum to delve into the rich history and culture of the area, or take a leisurely stroll along the V&A Waterfront to soak in the sights and sounds of the bustling harbor. As evening descends, treat yourself to a delightful dinner at one of Cape Town’s renowned restaurants, indulging in the diverse culinary delights that reflect the city’s rich tapestry of cultures.

Day 5

The Winelands
Day 5
- Enjoy your Final Breakfast in Cape Town, ensure it’s a hearty one, as we prepare to sample a variety of exquisite wines today. After checking out, Julie will be here to collect us.
- Next, we head to the Cape Winelands, where the exceptional quality of the wine is beautifully enhanced by the stunning scenery. The vineyards are nestled in the picturesque valleys of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl.
- During your Private Winelands Tour, you will drive through these magnificent wine-growing regions and experience at least three different tastings at various wine farms across at least two areas. We typically aim to provide you with the opportunity to meet a winemaker or owner at a smaller farm, allowing you to compare that intimate experience with that of a larger, more extravagant wine estate.
- Lunch will be a delightful wine and food pairing experience, and we will also indulge in a chocolate and wine pairing—let’s not forget the cheese!
- Check into your new accommodation in Franschoek with dinner at own accord .

A Day Out in Stellenbosch

- Start your day with a delightful breakfast before heading to the picturesque village of Stellenbosch.
- This is an ideal day for a Chocolate, Cheese, Biltong, and Wine Tour. Along the journey, Julie will stop at the local village for a leisurely stroll, giving you a chance to shop and explore the area.
- In the late afternoon, return to your hotel in Franschhoek, where you can unwind at your own leisure.

A Free day in in Franschoek

A Perfect Day in a Charming Wine Village
Nestled in a stunning valley, the town of Franschhoek is surrounded by majestic mountains on all sides. The Cape Dutch-style houses, painted in bright white, create a striking contrast against the lush green-brown mountain peaks that dominate the landscape.
- Today presents an excellent opportunity to soak in the ambiance of this small wine village and all its delightful offerings. You can choose to:
- Wander through the village
- Join a hiking adventure
- Book a ride on the famous Franschhoek Wine Tram for an exhilarating day out
- The tram glides through the scenic vineyards, providing breathtaking views and tasting experiences at several top-tier wineries. Each stop along the route invites you to indulge in exquisite wines while discovering the rich history and unique production methods that make every bottle remarkable.
- As you meander through the village, you’ll encounter charming boutiques, art galleries, and cozy cafés adorning the picturesque streets.
- In the evening, treat yourself to dinner at one of Franschhoek’s esteemed restaurants, where skilled chefs create dishes that honor the region’s culinary heritage while adding a modern flair.

Day 8

Winelands to the Kruger

- After enjoying breakfast and checking out, Julie will drive you back to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit Airport in the Kruger, followed by a transfer to the Private Big Five lodge.
- Depending on time, we may make a quick stopover at the Cheetah Rehabilitation center.
- Arrive at your destination in time for a light lunch before unpacking and getting settled.
- In the late afternoon, embark on an early evening game drive with knowledgeable guides and trackers who will share the sights and sounds of the bush with you.
- Return to camp where dinner will be served. Rest well in your comfortable lodge, surrounded by the serene sounds of nature, and look forward to the next day’s discoveries.

Day 9,10 and 11

Safari Days in the Kruger
Day 9, 10, 11
- Over the next three days, you will follow to the same itinerary, with the flexibility to opt out of a game drive. This gives you the chance to immerse yourself in the bush and enjoy your time as you see fit.

- Early evening game drive, followed by dinner back at the lodge

Kruger to Johannesburg

- You will be picked up and transferred to the airport.
- Arrive at OR Tambo Johannesburg, where you can either choose to extend your trip exploring JHB or head back home.
